Judge’s suggestions to all entrants in this category for improvements:

• Follow the RTDNA Code of Ethics. Clearly identify reenactments as such.
• Do not dissolve between SOT’s. It makes the story drag. The story has to be snappy and powerful. Dissolves slow things down.
• Remember the viewer has to comprehend everything in a shot. The general editing rule is to leave wide shots, which have a lot more information, up a tad longer than tight shots.
