Congratulations to the winners of the inaugural semester of the ACP Clips & Clicks contest \u2014 and to the schools competing for this year’s Sweepstakes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The competition, open to all ACP members, honors current work among student journalists, and the fall-semester winners encompass work produced from Aug. 1-Dec. 28, 2020.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There were 354 submissions in the fall competition, with 27 colleges and universities winning places.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“The judges consistently said they were very impressed with the quality of the entries submitted,” associate director Gary Lundgren said. “The Clips & Clicks competition is new for ACP, and it is clear this is going to be a very popular contest going forward.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Judges were collegiate professors, collegiate student media advisers and professional journalists.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The numbers of winners in each category was determined by the judges based on the quantity and quality of the entries. When calculating Sweepstakes, we assign these points:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
