ACP announces<\/strong> winners
in fall Clips & Clicks contest<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Congratulations to the winners of the Clips & Clicks contest for the 2021 fall semester \u2014 and to the ACP-member student media outlets competing for this year\u2019s Sweepstakes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The competition, open to all ACP members, honors current work among student journalists, and the fall-semester winners feature work produced from Aug. 1-Dec. 17, 2021.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The 2022 spring-semester emcompasses work produced from Dec. 18, 2021-May 27, 2022. The BetterBNC submission site will open in February with a contest deadline of May 27, 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There were approximately 300 submissions in the fall competition, representing 22 ACP-member student media outlets from 18 colleges and universities. A single entry in Broadcast: Commentary<\/strong> category will compete in the spring contest. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe judges consistently said they were very impressed with the quality of the entries submitted,\u201d associate director Gary Lundgren said. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Judges were collegiate professors, collegiate student media advisers and professional journalists.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The number of winners in each category was determined by the judges based on the quantity and quality of the entries. When calculating Sweepstakes, the following points are assigned:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Here are the top 12 winners going into the spring competition. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

For 2021-22, rankings are by ACP-member student media outlets, not by colleges and universities. Syracuse University has three student media outlets in the top 12, and the University of Miami has two.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When spring results are added in June, we\u2019ll announce the winner of our Clips & Clicks Sweepstakes trophy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
