ACP announces winners<\/strong>
of fall Clips & Clicks contest<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

MINNEAPOLIS \u2014 Congratulations to the winners of the Clips & Clicks contest for the fall 2022 semester \u2014 and to the ACP-member student media outlets competing for this year\u2019s Sweepstakes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The competition, open to all ACP members, honors current work among student journalists, and the fall-semester winners feature work produced from May 28-Dec. 7, 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There were approximately 350 submissions in the fall competition. Judges were collegiate professors, student media advisers and professional journalists.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe judges consistently said they were very impressed with the quality of the entries submitted,\u201d associate director Gary Lundgren said. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In all, 82 entries, approximately 24 percent of those entered, were recognized. The number of winners in each category was determined by the judges based on the quantity and quality of the entries. When calculating Sweepstakes, the following points are assigned \u2014<\/p>\n\n\n\n

First Place: 10
Second Place: 9
Third Place: 8
Fourth Place: 7
Fifth Place: 6
Honorable Mention: 5<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The 2023 spring-semester competition<\/a><\/strong> is open to content published from Dec. 8, 2022-May 1, 2023. The BetterBNC submission site opens Feb. 17, with a contest deadline of May 1.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
