Headlining our events<\/a><\/strong> is the nation’s largest gathering of collegiate journalists and their advisers \u2014 the National College Media Convention.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

With ACP’s fall convention partner, College Media Association,<\/a><\/strong> the convention serves hundreds of attendees with more than 350 practical and professional learning sessions, from high-profile keynotes to specific, problem-solving breakouts, hands-on workshops and discussion groups.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Recent conventions have adapted to virtual presentations. For on-site conventions, the primary gathering space for the convention is its exhibit hall, with prime space for sponsors, who can expand their reach through social-media sponsorships.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Each convention reaches a crescendo with ACP\u2019s awards presentations,<\/a><\/strong> including the prestigious Pacemaker Awards, Individual Awards and a convention Best of Show competition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

ACP’s spring event, the Spring National College Media Conference,<\/a><\/strong> serves hundreds of collegiate journalists and advisers on the West Coast. Joining ACP at the conference are the California College Media Association<\/a><\/strong> and the state’s Journalism Association of Community Colleges.<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

ACP also serves its membership with a national summer workshop. The College Media Mega Workshop,<\/a><\/strong> with hands-on training in multiple different tracks. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The workshop has served hundreds of collegiate journalists and advisers. The 2022 workshop returned to the University of Minnesota Twin Cities campus, in Minneapolis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
