MINNEAPOLIS – The Associated Collegiate Press (ACP) is pleased to announce finalists in the 2015 Online Pacemaker competition.<\/p>\n
Twenty-nine websites were selected from among 145 entries, which were divided into categories based on publication type and school enrollment.<\/p>\n
Judges noted that the top competitors provided readers with a complete visual experience, utilizing graphics, powerful photography and polished multimedia to tell stories. Timely coverage of topics relevant to the audience was a must. The best sites also engaged audiences effectively on social media.<\/p>\n
One judge said of one category, \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Many of the sites … presented well-written news coverage, so many of the top spots were separated by design and ease of website use through navigation.\u00e2\u20ac\u009d<\/p>\n
