These young editors included a variety of written formats, giving their audience what they wanted and needed: facts and figures in infographics, strong quotations and intriguing lead. Captions recorded the significance of photos representing excellent coverage. Design trends were evident but not overwhelming: Geometric shapes, texture, black and white incorporated into color pages. Strong photo packages and adherence to fundamental use of grid and white space. Photo treatments such as screens and cutouts used sparingly with dominant images.”<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n
