The judging for this competition was extremely difficult. Every entry presented something delightful to the judges: a moving poem, a gripping story, brilliant artwork or a thoughtful use of design. The challenge was to find those magazines that presented not only the greatest number of brilliant components, but went beyond to achieve a holistic and unified theme, an intentional approach to design, superb writing informed by mature copy-editing and excellent, readable typography.<\/p>\n<p>NSPA congratulates all finalists in this\u00a0step towards winning scholastic journalism\u2019s most prestigious award, the Pacemaker.<\/p>\n<p>Pacemaker winners will be announced at the <a href=\"http:\/\/la.journalismconvention.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">JEA\/NSPA Spring National High School Journalism Convention<\/a>, April 14-17, 2016 in Los Angeles, CA.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h3><strong>2015 NSPA Magazine\u00a0Pacemaker Finalists<\/strong><\/h3>\n<div style=\"overflow: hidden;\">\n<div style=\"width: 49%;
