MINNEAPOLIS \u2013 The National Scholastic Press Association is excited to announce the 2016 finalists in the Online Pacemaker competition.<\/p>\n
The finalist websites contained a good mix of stories, photography, videos and audio, as well as podcasts. These sites also incorporated social media well, using Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube to supplement their content and attract more readers. Finally, the winning sites had compelling content \u2014 stories that made the reader want to stay and keep reading the site, which can be a tricky feat to accomplish.<\/p>\n
NSPA congratulates all finalists in this\u00a0step towards winning scholastic journalism\u2019s most prestigious award, the Pacemaker.<\/p>\n
