{"id":5234,"date":"2017-05-03T11:30:33","date_gmt":"2017-05-03T16:30:33","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/studentpress.org\/nspa\/?p=5234"},"modified":"2017-05-03T11:56:22","modified_gmt":"2017-05-03T16:56:22","slug":"member365","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/studentpress.org\/nspa\/member365\/","title":{"rendered":"NSPA introduces new online member portal"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>National Scholastic Press Association launched a new online membership portal on Wednesday.\u00a0This is the first time in NSPA&#8217;s almost 100-year history that members have had access to their own information online.<\/p>\n<p>Members now\u00a0have secure access to update publication information, renew memberships, register for events, enter contests, view invoices and more. NSPA encourages members\u00a0to take some time to get familiar\u00a0with their membership profiles and ensure the information is up to date.<\/p>\n<p>A welcome email was sent to each member from ashley@studentpress.org. If a member\u00a0did not receive this email, they should go to\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/nspa.member365.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">nspa.member365.com<\/a>, reset their password and then log in with the updated password.<\/p>\n<p>One adviser from each member publication has\u00a0been selected as the main contact for that membership. If additional advisers need access, they should be\u00a0added under Employee Accounts from the dashboard. To update contact information or communication preferences, members\u00a0can modify their\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/nspa.member365.com\/sharingnetwork\/myProfile\" data-cke-saved-href=\"\/sharingnetwork\/myProfile\">profile here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>With the launch of the new Member365 portal, NSPA is also introducing integrated contest entry forms. Members must be logged into their account (and have an active membership) in order to enter in the Newspaper Pacemaker, Broadcast Pacemaker and Individual Awards. <a href=\"http:\/\/studentpress.org\/nspa\/awards\/contest-rules\/\">Click here<\/a> to view contest rules. All three contests have a deadline of June 23.<\/p>\n<p>A new critique system is also in the works. Materials will be submitted digitally, which should improve\u00a0turnaround time.
