We’ll be celebrating Pacemaker Award finalists and winners in magazine, online and yearbook \u2014 and Best of Show winners in 22 categories \u2014 during a special presentation at noon CDT Friday, April 17.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Registrants will also be contacted with the link on Thursday. It will go live at the noon Friday start time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This year, because the Spring National High School Journalism Convention in Nashville was canceled, the NSPA Best of Show competition became virtual. It opened to all NSPA members regardless of whether they were planning to attend the convention.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Best of Show winners will be announced after Pacemaker Award finalists are honored, and then, after Best of Show, we’ll announce this year’s Pacemaker winners in magazine, online and yearbook.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And during the presentation, we’ll hear shoutouts from some very special guests. They’ll offer some words of encouragement at a time when we need them. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The video will be posted Friday, and then it will be available at the same link to re-play and share.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
