ACP and CMA to present #collegemedia17 together

Dear ACP and CMA members,

It’s with pleasure that we announce that ACP and CMA will be collaborating again on the 2017 Fall National College Media Convention in Dallas, TX. The event will be the largest annual gathering of college journalism/media students and their advisers. We hope to deliver the consistently excellent convention that our members are used to.

Since 1954, Associated Collegiate Press and College Media Association have jointly presented the Fall National College Media Convention. In October 2013, the organizations were unable to reach an agreement on the terms of the partnership, and the groups went their own ways.

ACP and CMA will also be jointly presenting a summer workshop in Minneapolis July 14-17, 2016. More details, including info on how to register, will come soon.

In fall 2016, the organizations will hold their own events, with ACP in Washington, DC (Oct. 21-23) and CMA in Atlanta (Oct. 26-30).

Both organizations aim to provide the best programming and services to support our members. We are enthusiastic that our continued partnership will allow us to offer the best content that we can, to the benefit of both organizations and our members. We hope to see you at these upcoming events. As always, if there’s anything that our organizations can offer you to make your membership more valuable, please let us know.

Sincerely,
The Boards of Directors of Associated Collegiate Press and College Media Association
