MINNEAPOLIS — The Associated Collegiate Press has named approximately 370 finalists in its popular Individual Awards competition.

The winners will be announced at the ACP Awards Ceremony on Saturday, Nov. 7, at the Fall National College Media Convention, in Kansas City, Mo.

The ACP Individual Awards recognize the outstanding achievements of individual students and small teams of journalists.

“The future of journalism and communications is bright if the quality of the work submitted in the ACP Individual Awards is any indication,” said ACP associate director Gary Lundgren. “These contests are highly competitive and it is a huge honor to be named a winner.”

ACP names 10 finalists in each competition. Ultimately, five winners and five honorable mentions will be recognized with certificates.

After the winners are announced on Nov. 7, a gallery of the winners and honorable mentions will be shared on this website allowing student journalists and advisers to see all of the entries recognized in the competition.

Congratulations to the finalists in the following categories —
