ACP introduces new online member portal

Associated Collegiate Press launched a new online membership portal on Wednesday. This is the first time in ACP’s almost 100-year history that members have had access to their own information online.

Members now have secure access to update publication information, renew memberships, register for events, enter contests, view invoices and more. ACP encourages members to take some time to get familiar with their membership profiles and ensure the information is up to date.

A welcome email was sent to each member from ashley@studentpress.org. If a member did not receive this email, they should go to acp.member365.com, reset their password and then log in with the updated password.

One adviser from each member publication has been selected as the main contact for that membership. If additional advisers need access, they should be added under Employee Accounts from the dashboard. To update contact information or communication preferences, members can modify their profile here.

With the launch of the new Member365 portal, ACP is also introducing integrated contest entry forms. Members must be logged into their account (and have an active membership) in order to enter in the Newspaper Pacemaker, Magazine Pacemaker and Individual Awards. Click here to view contest rules. All three contests have a deadline of June 9.

A new critique system is also in the works. Materials will be submitted digitally, which should improve turnaround time. This system will be launched within the next couple of weeks.

“This new membership portal is going to transform the way our members communicate with ACP staff and each other,” said Amber Billings, ACP’s communications director. “They will be able to search for nearby advisers in the directory and access their own contest entries and critique history.”
