2015 Magazine Pacemaker Finalists announced

MINNEAPOLIS – The National Scholastic Press Association is pleased to announce the 2015 finalists in the Magazine Pacemaker competition. The judging for this competition was extremely difficult. Every entry presented something delightful to the judges: a moving poem, a gripping story, brilliant artwork or a thoughtful use of design. The challenge was to find those magazines that presented not only the greatest number of brilliant components, but went beyond to achieve a holistic and unified theme, an intentional approach to design, superb writing informed by mature copy-editing and excellent, readable typography.

NSPA congratulates all finalists in this step towards winning scholastic journalism’s most prestigious award, the Pacemaker.

Pacemaker winners will be announced at the JEA/NSPA Spring National High School Journalism Convention, April 14-17, 2016 in Los Angeles, CA.
