Sponsorship Opportunities

National Scholastic Press Association offers exceptional opportunities for sponsors to engage with NSPA members.

Who sponsors NSPA events?

Companies with goods and services for student-media groups.

Educational institutions marketing to attendees.

Organizations seeking to connect with student journalists.

Headlining our events is the nation’s largest gathering of scholastic journalists and their advisers — the National High School Journalism Convention.

Presented in both fall and spring with our convention partner, Journalism Education Association, the conventions engage and support thousands of student journalists and educators with dozens of educational sessions, dynamic keynote speakers, critiques and contests.

Recent conventions have adapted to virtual presentations. For on-site conventions, the primary gathering space for the convention is its exhibit hall, with prime space for sponsors, who can expand their reach through social-media sponsorships.

Each convention reaches a crescendo with NSPA’s awards presentations, including the prestigious Pacemaker Awards, Individual Awards and a convention Best of Show competition.

To engage with NSPA members in a workshop setting, consider supporting the Gloria Shields NSPA Media Workshop.

Presented over a week each summer, the workshop engages some of the nation’s top journalism educators to train and inspire student journalists as they prepare for the year ahead.
