2024 Middle School/Junior High Individual Award finalists

NSPA honors middle school/junior high journalists

Approximately 65 entries have been named finalists in the 2024 NSPA Middle School/Junior High Individual Awards.

There are nine contests in three categories honoring the best of middle school and junior high journalism.

DESIGN (3 contests)

PHOTOJOURNALISM (2 contests)

STORIES (4 contests)

The winners will be announced for the first time on Nov. 9, at the NSPA Awards Ceremony during the JEA/NSPA Fall National High School Journalism Convention in Philadelphia. 

At the ceremony, awards will be announced and presented only to middle school/junior high schools registered for the convention. The winners list will be posted on the NSPA website after the convention and awards mailed to those schools not in Philadelphia.
