And then the designer did not try to clutter the rest of the page with refers or bold type. The background stays quiet, since the illustration is so loud. Great balance. Great page!

Judge’s comments: Of all the photo illustration covers, this one was extremely well done. The monster drink on the desk was a subtle touch, but helped deliver the point beautifully. I thought the amount of text on the cover was just right as well; gave me a good read on the story, simply. Outstanding.
