Best of the High School Press

This page offers downloads from recent editions of the Best of the High School Press, the National Scholastic Press Association awards annual.

Each download for these editions contains image files of some of the publications’ pages, spreads and covers that have appeared in NSPA’s annual Best of the High School Press publications.

The images included in the download have been generated to the following specifications: JPEG format, RGB color, maximum width for horizontal images: 1024 pixels, maximum height for vertical images: 1024 pixels.

The images are meant to be used in one of two ways: presented for a group of people in an educational environment, such as a classroom, workshop or seminar, or published in handouts (not textbooks or other professionally published works) distributed to students in a classroom or attendees of a workshop or seminar. Any handout which includes images from this CD must include the following text somewhere in your handout: “Publication images reprinted from Best of the High School Press, a publication of the National Scholastic Press Association (nspa.studentpress.org).” The student publications which produced the work must also be identified.

Any other usage, specifically publishing the images in a school publication (such as newspapers, magazines or yearbooks) or posting the images on a website, is prohibited. Any questions about the usage of images on this CD should be directed to NSPA at info@studentpress.org.

Each folder inside the BoHSP edition folders on this page represents a section of the Best of the High School Press print publication in which the folder’s image appeared, and in each section’s folder there is a PDF file of that section of the book, to provide more information about the images.
