This contest is in partnership with the George Mason University Center for Climate Change Communication.
All student journalists reporting on climate change as a local story are encouraged to use the Climate Matters in the Newsroom reporting resources, science-based reporting materials that are funded, in part, by the National Science Foundation. These materials can be used in award submissions.
A gallery of winners will be posted after the Nov. 4 announcement.
