National College Journalism Convention Best of Show winners announced

LOS ANGELES – The Associated Collegiate Press presented its Best of Show awards at the 31st Annual National College Journalism Convention. Congratulations to all winners and runners up. The contest had a total of 143 entries, almost 50 more than last year.

Judge’s comments: “Some damn fine videos in this batch. Alas, the category is “multimedia package” – and many entries had only video. The winner did the best job meshing text with video. Most crucial, this package was accessible either way. You could watch the video first or read the story first and still grasp the narrative.”
