Associated Collegiate Press offers exceptional opportunities for sponsors to engage with ACP members.
Who sponsors ACP events?
Companies with goods and services for student-media groups.
Educational institutions marketing to attendees.
Organizations seeking to connect with student journalists.
Headlining our events is the nation’s largest gathering of collegiate journalists and their advisers — the National College Media Convention.
With ACP’s convention partner, College Media Association, the convention serves more than 1,500 attendees with more than 350 practical and professional learning sessions, from high-profile keynotes to specific, problem-solving breakouts, hands-on workshops and discussion groups.
The primary gathering space for the convention is its exhibit hall, with prime space for sponsors, who can expand their reach through social-media sponsorships.
Each convention reaches a crescendo with ACP’s awards presentations, including the prestigious Pacemaker Awards, Individual Awards and a convention Best of Show competition.
ACP teams with additional organizations in its two other national conventions.
From Feb. 25-27, 2021, ACP joins the California College Media Association and the Journalism Association of Community Colleges, for a West Coast convention, in La Jolla, California.
From March 18-21, 2021, ACP joins College Media Business and Advertising Managers for a national convention in Chicago.
At both spring conventions, dozens sessions will be led by experienced journalists, veteran advisers and award-winning college editors. Each will have primary gathering space with a exhibit hall for sponsors to interact with attendees.
ACP also serves its membership with a national summer workshop. The Student Media Virtual Bootcamp, from July 20-31, offers two weeks of virtual sessions in nine different tracks, with additional a la carte sessions on workshop Fridays. Sponsoring with ACP are College Media Association and College Media Business and Advertising Managers.
The bootcamp is an adaption of the popular Mega Workshop, which has served hundreds of collegiate journalists and advisers on site in Minneapolis in July. This year’s workshop, through virtual instruction, will reach collegiate journalists and advisers who may not have been able to attend an on-site gathering.
