Associated Collegiate Press honored the nation’s top collegiate media with its Innovation Pacemaker awards at the Fall National College Media Convention, in Atlanta.
ACP Pacemakers in Broadcast, Innovation, Magazine, Multiplatform, Newspaper/Newsmagazine and Online were announced at the convention’s awards ceremony.
“The Pacemaker is the association’s preeminent award,” Executive Director Laura Widmer said. “NSPA is honored to recognize the best of the best.”

Celebrating the five First Amendment freedoms, The Los Angeles Loyolan collaborated with student government to reintroduce First Amendment Week to the Loyola Marymount University community.
The keynote speaker for First Amendment Week was Jennette McCurdy, former child star and author of the New York Times-bestselling memoir “I’m Glad My Mom Died,” familiar to students through the Nickelodeon shows “iCarly” and “Sam & Cat.”
The Loyolan amplified promotions through social media for a successful event.
